How to fix the Slow Shutdown of VMWare Server in VMWare Workstation?

To fix this issue this is what you need to do:
- 1)Open up your .vmx config file in the folder where your vmware instance is installed.
- 2)Edit the file with notepad and add this line at the end of the document. Exit and Save the file.
- 3)Line to add:
MainMem.useNamedFile = "FALSE"
P.S. This applies to VMWare Workstation 7
